What Was She Good For?
Aphrodite was good for protecting sailors, or that was Homers idea. Now who would want to kill a beautiful goddess? So it would make sense to use her to protect the sailors because she is so beautiful that no one would attack her. Her beauty was used as a weapon against other people. Aphrodite is one very gorgeous weapon.
